PCDF Centers

Access to high-quality diagnostic and treatment for all individuals with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) is a primary goal of the PCD Foundation. As we continue to learn more about PCD and develop better standards for identifying affected individuals and treating the consequences of inherited ciliary dysfunction, we plan to grow our network of centers with PCD expertise.

Genetic Disorders of Mucociliary Clearance Consortium (GDMCC) Research Sites

The Genetic Disorders of Mucociliary Clearance Consortium (GDMCC) exists to bring together physicians and patients for the sake of Mucociliary Clearance Diseases research. Research offers no guarantees, but research cannot move forward without your help. Every active role a patient takes may possibly play a part in discovering new groundbreaking research and finding new treatments (GDMCC site).

Affiliate Centers

Affiliate Centers are very similar to PCDF Centers from a treatment standpoint, however, these institutions do not use all diagnostic tools specific to PCD, namely nasal nitric oxide (nNO) testing. Consequently, a comprehensive diagnostic workup cannot be conducted at these sites.
