PCDF Fundraising Policies and Forms

A Word from the President

The PCD Foundation depends on the dedication and generosity of its supporters to carry on its important work of promoting research, education, and advocacy on behalf of families and individuals affected by PCD. The Executive Committee has developed policies to which all fund raising events and the individuals organizing them must adhere in order to be officially sanctioned Foundation events. These policies are not intended to limit the extent or creativity of these events but rather to protect the integrity of the Foundation, assure financial responsibility, and protect against liability. If you are planning a fundraising event, or even if you think you might be interested in hosting one, please feel free to contact a member of the Executive Committee or the Executive Director so that the Foundation can work with you to make your event safe, enjoyable, and effective. Even simple events require some planning with input and exchanges from the members of the Executive Committee before finalizing authorization from the Foundation. Please be mindful of these logistical issues and contact the Foundation in a timely fashion as you begin to formulate your plans. We thank you for your interest and willingness to participate in raising funds for the Foundation and I assure you that we will work with you in every way possible to assist you in developing a successful event.
